Scripts (L'expérience intérieure)

An electrocardiograph was prepared to record simultaneously the
muscular activity of my hand and my heart. The device was then
used to rewrite a text excerpt of Georges Bataille and to transpose
it into a seismographic line, interacting between the script and the heart.
Each written word and sentence is translated into singular deflections,
steered by the movement of my writing hand and the impulse of the heart.
Two cameras recorded the writing performance. The seismographic line
was then printed and synchronized together with the typed text and bound
into a book.
